Chandler Parsons, the Houston Rockets forward, is leaving Nike to sign a new deal with Chinese basketball footwear brand Anta.

Parsons,
who is averaging 17 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game for
the Rockets, was reportedly offered significantly more to sign with Anta
than more recognizable brands in the U.S. like Under Armor and Adidas.
Anta
has deals with other current NBA players like Kevin Garnett, Rajon
Rondo in addition to former Rockets Luis Scola, Patrick Patterson, Kyle
Lowery and Shane Battier.
