Horny Toad has selected F3 Distribution as their Canadian brand partner. The announcement concludes an extensive process for Horny Toad, in which the brand sought out a partner who could support growing demand within a highly competitive and geographically challenging marketplace, but could also accurately and passionately support unique Horny Toad brand elements.

“This choice had to be about more than just numbers, which made it a very time-consuming process,” said Gordon Seabury, president of Horny Toad. “Because the Horny Toad brand continues to find creative and dynamic ways to differentiate itself, it was imperative for us to find a Canadian partner that understands and reflects those same goals. We also wanted to find somebody we really liked to hang out with.”

F3 Distribution, Momentum Group's latest outdoor active subsidiary, was founded in 2002 in Montreal, Quebec. F3 Distribution is run by Pierre Vermette, and has experience in the cycling, running, outdoor active and snow sports industry. The company is matched by a strong commitment to sustainable specialty retailer distribution.

“Horny Toad is our new baby and will become a very important element of our distribution; our Canadian outdoor and lifestyle dealers are extremely happy and very anxious to review the upcoming Spring 2006 line that we will launch this summer” said Vermette.

As a key component of the Horny Toad partnership, F3 Distribution will secure new brand affiliations in Canada which echo those developed by Horny Toad in the US market. Currently, Horny Toad¹s domestic partnerships include relationships within the realms of outdoor music, outdoor film and outdoor adventure, such as the Relix Magazine, JamOff!, The Telluride Mountain Film Festival, and mountain unicyclist Kris Holm.

With F3 Distribution, Horny Toad will also join a limited roster of cohesive and complementary brands in the outdoor active segment: Pearl Izumi, Karhu skis and Tifosi optics.
