Hopkins Sporting Goods, an Iowa-based retailer, has acquired a minority stake in Suplay Products, Inc., a leading supplier of a full range of equipment, apparel, and accessories required by amateur wrestlers across the U.S. and around the world.
Renowned for its capability to produce nationally ranked wrestlers, an Iowa based retailer seems the perfect fit for Suplay, as the marriage will likely result in profitability. In line with Hopkins’ target audience, Suplay primarily caters to parents of elementary and high school age athletes competing on school-sponsored wrestling teams and independent clubs, along with coaches and team officials, league organizers, and other distributors.
