K. Roger Holliday has rejoined Russell Corporation as vice president of investor relations effective July 9. Holliday will be based in Atlanta and report to Eric Hoyle, interim CFO.
“We are extremely pleased that Roger is returning to Russell to fill this extremely important role,” said Jack Ward, chairman and CEO. “His years of experience with the company and in the investor relations field will certainly be an asset to us as we continue to reshape Russell into an athletic and sporting goods operation.”
Holliday originally joined Russell in 1986 as director of financial relations. He served in various senior management positions with the company including president of the Jerzees division and president of the licensed products operations. He was named vice president of investor relations in 1996 and remained in that position until he became a partner with Corporate Reports in Atlanta in July 2001.
Holliday began his career in 1980 with Johnson & Higgins as vice president for Property and Casualty. He earned his Bachelor of Business degree from Emory University and his MBA degree from Georgia State University.
