Hodgdon Powder Company tapped Steve Faintich as VP, research and development.
Effective immediately, Faintich assumes responsibility for R&D, propellant quality control, ballistics data development and management, and customer/technical service. He comes to Hodgdon after a long career at General Dynamics (St. Marks Powder) in engineering, sales and marketing roles.
“With the recent retirement of a long-time Hodgdon employee from this role,” said Steve Kehrwald, Hodgdon president & CEO, “we needed a ballistics professional with a track record of success and a passion for quality propellant development. We have known and respected Steve Faintich for years. He is the consummate professional who has the respect of the shooting industry for his contributions to product and feature development, and we could not be more thrilled to welcome him to the Hodgdon Powder family.”
