Collective Licensing International (CLI) announced a new three-year licensing agreement with IFG, a division of Admji Apparel Group of New York, under which IFG will license the Hind brand and design, manufacture and distribute Hind-branded performance athletic apparel for men and women in the United States and Canada. CLI called the agreement “a significant step in expanding the brand in these geographic markets.”
IFG’s inaugural collection will debut in Spring 2011 in sporting goods and department stores across the two countries.
Hind is managed by Collective Licensing International and led by president and CEO Bruce Pettet.
“We are looking forward to collaborating with IFG on the continued expansion of the Hind brand,” said Pettet. “With IFGs understanding of the performance apparel market, we anticipate innovative collections and an enhanced presence of the Hind brand in performance retailers across North America.”
Adjmi Apparel Group has a successful track record of designing, producing and distributing apparel through a wide range of retail channels for more than 30 years.
“We think Hind is a terrific platform for the true performance athlete,” said Fred Levine, national sales executive of IFG. “Performance apparel is not just a trend, but a movement the industry has been leaning towards and is ready to expand upon. We are very excited about our partnership with Collective Licensing International and look forward to growing the Hind brand together.”
