Techtrail, the European division of U.S. based Highgear, announced two international changes. Ryan Hamsho has been appointed to head up International Sales from Techtrails Asheville, North Carolina home office. With many years of international sales experience, Hamsho is a veteran at managing global sales and the logistics involved with moving product around the world.
“I welcome the daily challenges of working with distributors in 16+ regions of the world, every day is unique and exciting, especially with our steady growth within the European and Australasia markets,” states Hamsho.
Across the pond, Techtrail has appointed Burton McCall to represent the brand throughout the UK and Ireland. Burton McCall is a very well respected company with more than 50 years experience of a wide variety of markets, serviced by specific divisions. They currently employ around 120 people, the focus of whom is to develop and provide industry leading levels of customer service. In addition to Techtrail, Burton McCall distributes other key international brands including Victorinox, Maglite, Sigg, Bridgedale, Aztec, Pacsafe and Recta. It is a sister company to Mountain Equipment, Sprayway and Bridgedale.
Highgear said that the association between Techtrail and Burton McCall will enable both companies to expand their business within the outdoor market, and beyond.
