High Sierra Sport Company promoted Jack Rohrbach to the position of vice president of global sourcing and appointed Kurt Moriwaki as creative director.
 
Rohrbach will now oversee all Asian operations which include sourcing, commercialization, and production processes for the company, which makes bags, backpacks and adventure travel luggage. He will have a strategic role to oversee supply chain efficiency, new factory partnerships, and quality control.
 
“Jack has been a tremendous asset in managing the performance, quality and value of our products over the past several years,” said Bryan Kinsley, sr. vice president and chief operating officer for High Sierra Sport Company. “We are enthused to have such a strong team as the quality we provide our customers comes first and foremost.”
 
Moriwaki has more than 12 years of experience in the sporting goods industry.  Prior to joining High Sierra, Moriwaki spent time with Wilson Sporting Goods where he was the art director for Team Sports. His resume also includes Life Fitness and Brunswick Corporation.  Moriwaki is a graduate of Northern Illinois University and has an MBA, with marketing concentration, from the Keller Graduate School of Management.
