Hi-Tec Sports appointed Rick Randleman as director of operations, USA. Randleman is responsible for overseeing the customer service, IT and distribution departments of the company’s two US brands, Hi-Tec Sports USA and Magnum.

His appointment is effective immediately.

“Rick brings to the table a diverse business background that includes Fortune 500 experience and e-commerce management,” said Brad Gebhard, Hi-Tec Sports USA CEO. “Hi-Tec USA is currently undertaking a number of initiatives to improve its competitiveness and position in the US market.  Rick, with his proven expertise, will help us achieve those goals.”

Randleman will focus on Hi-Tec's business performance through the implementation of a new resource planning system, an e-commerce platform, and the adoption of proven operating practices to ensure the business is positioned effectively for anticipated growth in the US market. He will be based out of Hi-Tec's Portland, Oregon headquarters, and will work regularly in Modesto, California, where Magnum is based.  Randleman will report directly to Gebhard.

Randleman, 48, is a native of southern Oregon and a graduate of the University of Texas with a degree in economics and finance. Prior to Hi-Tec, he worked as a Project Manager for CompuCom, a billion dollar systems integration company located in Dallas, Texas, where he specialized in manufacturing and process improvement projects for Fortune 500 clients such as American Airlines and Texas Instruments. Before CompuCom, Randleman was Marketing Manager for Zale Corporation in Irving Texas and E-Commerce Brand Manager for catalog company Harry & David, located in Medford, Oregon.
