The Health & Fitness Association (HFA) has expanded its business development team by hiring Winston Moore, Jr. as director of strategic partnerships.

In this role, Moore will “establish and maintain strategic relationships with corporations, foundations, government entities, and nonprofits to build high-impact alliances that support HFA’s policy, programming, and growth objectives,” said the HFA in a media release. He will also “oversee sponsorship and grant opportunities, facilitate cross-functional collaboration to integrate partners into key initiatives, and spearhead innovative, co-branded programs that generate new revenue streams and fuel long-term impact.”

“Winston brings an impressive mix of business acumen, stakeholder engagement experience and policy insight,” said Liz Clark, HFA president and CEO. “We’re thrilled to have him on board to help forge the kinds of partnerships that can meaningfully move the needle for our industry and the communities we serve.”

Moore joins HFA from Booz Allen Hamilton, where he served as a senior consultant advising on strategic initiatives for public and private sector clients. He previously held policy and outreach positions at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Hudson Institute.

Moore has a Master of Business Administration from Marymount University and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in International Business and Economics from Mount St. Mary’s University, which he earned while playing NCAA Division 1 basketball.

“Joining the HFA team is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a mission I truly believe in,” said Moore. “This role presents a unique opportunity to shape partnerships that push the boundaries of what this association can accomplish. Through creative collaboration, we can unlock new resources, programs, and policy wins that benefit our members.”
