Play4theCure, the National Foundation for Cancer Researchs sports fundraising campaign, has partnered with sports apparel manufacturer Harrow Sports to empower athletes and coaches and raise money for cancer research.

Harrow Sports has designed a unique Play4theCure t-shirt for the 2014-2015 season and has committed to donate 10 percent of proceeds from shirt sales to the National Foundation for Cancer Research. Additionally, Harrow Sports will be awarding the top Play4TheCure fundraising team of the year with a $250 gift card.

With Harrow Sports now on the Play4theCure team, we have taken a great leap forward in our efforts to engage the entire field hockey community in support of cancer research, said Franklin Salisbury Jr., president of National Foundation for Cancer Research. Just as rival teams are joining together to host Play4theCure fundraisers, our corporate sponsors are uniting to elevate Play4theCure.

Harrow is thrilled to partner with NFCRs Play4theCure to provide additional resources to help raise awareness and motivate the field hockey community to raise funds for cancer research, said Alli Tanner, Harrow Sports Field Hockey Brand Manager. Play4theCure is an impressive program. The ability for teams to be a part of something bigger than themselves is truly incredible. We are honored to be the newest member of the team and look forward to contributing to the cause.

I am thrilled Harrow Sports is joining the Play4theCure Team, said Christine Tina Reinprecht, founder of Play4theCure. Harrow Sports has a rich tradition of supporting field hockey programs at multiple levels but especially at the grass roots level. Its no surprise that they recognize Play4theCures grassroots participation and are eager to assist our mission to help fund cancer research.

Reinprecht, coach of the Mystx Field Hockey Club in Feasterville, Penn. and a current board member of USA Field Hockey, founded Play4theCure in 2006. Over the last eight years, Play4theCure has grown into a national program, raising over $1.2 million for cancer research.

Harrow Sports manufactures lacrosse, hockey, field hockey, squash, racquet sports, custom gear and apparel.
