GymGuyz, a franchise company specializing in in-home mobile personal training, is now serving the Southwest Atlanta area through local husband-and-wife team Joel and Erin Castro. The Atlanta, GA, location will host a grand opening on July 17.
Joel’s passion for fitness began in college when he worked as a personal trainer. After earning his certification, he planned to coach youth athletes; however, with the growth of his family, he transitioned into the healthcare industry. While his career path shifted, his passion for fitness and coaching remained unchanged. When the opportunity to franchise with GymGuyz arose, Joel returned to his love of fitness with this opportunity.
For Erin, GymGuyz offered the ability to work from home, providing the flexibility to manage daily responsibilities while remaining fully involved in the business. She and Joel saw franchise ownership as a chance to build something meaningful while helping others improve their health and well-being.

GymGuyz serves over 1,300 cities in three countries. The company recently expanded beyond in-home workouts, with fitness programs for corporations, schools, hospitals, and residential communities, including apartment complexes and senior living centers.
