Gu Energy Labs ditched the liquid gel format for its newest product and turned to the waffle.
Launching the Stroopwafel, a dutch-style syrup waffle that acts like an Energy Gel but tastes like a breakfast treat, Gu turned its attention to endurance fueling before activities, choosing the waffle for its complex carbohydrates, amino acids and electrolytes.
Inspired by the 18th century Netherlands stroopwafel, the Energy Stroopwafel is Gu’s latest addition to Nutrition Matrix – a holistic nutritional system designed to help you properly hydrate, energize and recover.
