GSI Commerce Inc. has announced a multiyear extension of its e-commerce agreement with New York & Company, a specialty retailer of women's apparel. Under the agreement, which runs to 2013, GSI will continue to provide New York & Company with fulfillment and customer care services.


“GSI's scale and expertise in logistics and their focus on improving the consumer experience has positively impacted our business,” said Donna Iucolano, executive vice president and general manager of New York & Company's Direct Group. “They are continuously making improvements that help us get our packages to consumers more quickly without impacting the competitiveness of their shipping rates,” she added.


“New York & Company is a great brand with great customers,” said Scott Hardy, executive vice president of business management for GSI. “We are happy that they are continuing to put their trust in us to enhance their customers' online experience in the critical areas of fulfillment and customer care.”


New York & Company has been a GSI client since 2006.
