Grabber has inked an exclusive distribution partnership with RopeLok, the manufacturer of the No Knot RopeLok, a tie-down product with lever locking technology that eliminates the need for tying knots.

Douglas Hassing, inventor of the No Knot RopeLok, and co-owner of the company with brother and sister, Jay Hassing and Rebecca Hassing, recently earned two awards at the INPEX 2008 Invention Trade Show. The unique tie-down product received the Silver Award in the Hardware and Tools category and won the Gold Medal in the Recreational Product Category.

Hassing’s RopeLok concept was borne out of a need for a securely-locking, quick- release lead for his horses.  However, it quickly became clear that such a product had many applications where the need to eliminate knot-tying was required for ease of use.  This universality attracted Grabber to the product. Grabber General Manager, Gary C. Gerds commented, “Grabber is proud to distribute this… product. We believe it has great potential to bring excitement to the tie-down product category and has the ability to eliminate the difficulties associated with knotted ropes.”

Jay Hassing describes the partnership with Grabber. “After meeting with the team from Grabber, and feeling comfortable with everyone we spoke with, we felt they were the right company for the distribution of RopeLok. Teaming up with Grabber allows us to expand our product into distribution areas that, on our own, would have taken us 5 years or more. Grabber has the infrastructure and market share that will help RopeLok grow and be competitive in the market place for years to come.”
