Danny Coster, GoPro Inc.’s VP of Design, left the company earlier this year, according to Bloomberg.

He had joined GoPro from Apple in April 2016.

“After nearly four years at GoPro, where Danny was instrumental in transforming our design function, Danny decided to take his career expertise and family back to his native New Zealand to begin a new chapter of his life,” a GoPro spokesperson told Bloomberg. Coster’s last day at GoPro was in February, the spokesperson added.

In April, GoPro Inc. announced a strategic re-alignment that includes an accelerated shift to a direct-to-consumer strategy. Actions include a $100 million reduction to 2020 operating expenses including a workforce reduction of more than 20 percent and plans to further reduce non-headcount related operating expenses to $250 million in 2021.
