GoMotion, manufacturer of wearable lighting systems for runners, walkers and hikers, hired Vince Morse as its national sales manager. Morse, a running industry veteran, comes to GoMotion with over a decade of experience in the running and outdoor markets.

Morse was most recently the National Sales Manager at Bodyglide and prior to that, the Western Regional Sales Manager for Nathan Sport/Penguin Shoe Care. He will be responsible for organizing and managing GoMotion’s sales force, maintaining existing and establishing new key accounts, and acting as the Pacific Northwest rep for the brand.

“We’re thrilled to bring Vince on as National Sales Manager. His experience and connections within the running and speciality channels will help to grow our retail presence and continue our commitment to providing current dealers with top-notch customer service,” said GoMotion president and founder, Bob Hunnewell.

“I’m very excited to be a part of the GoMotion team. I look forward to utilizing my experience and relationships in the running market to promote this superior lighting solution for runners. GoMotion has a bright future and I’m proud to be associated with such a terrific company,” said Vince Morse.

Founded in 2006 by runners Jonathan Craig and Bob Hunnewell, GoMotion’s product line came from the need for a better running light. GoMotion moves the light off your head and lower on your body, offering better depth perception, comfort and stability while also helping to maintain night vision. Lights are placed at either the sternum or waist level, depending upon the product, and use a 100 lumen Cree LED with a Fresnel lens for a clean, bright light. Light output can be adjusted for varying conditions, an adjustable flood to spotlight beam offers a tailored light whether you’re running on a wide road or singletrack, and a ratchet system enables you to move the light up and down 110°. Red rear flashing LEDs mounted on the rear battery pack also provide increased visibility.

GoMotion has signed on as a National partner for both the Ragnar Road and Trail Relays Series as the exclusive ‘Wearable Lighting’ supplier for 2014.
