GoLite and Consoltex introduced CYNCHRONICITY, a bold new soft shell fabric that is not only lightweight, windproof, highly breathable, abrasion-resistant, and water-repellent, but offers the best moisture management of all other comparable soft shells thanks to the use of GoLite’s patented C-Thru polyester.

In Cynchronicity, C-Thru polyester is thermally bonded to a micro-porous foam core to ensure excellent moisture transfer while blocking the wind (CFM=2). The outer shell is a woven, Super DWR-treated polyester with mechanical stretch. The hydrostatic head is 7000mm and the MVTR is 10,000 mm.

Look for Cynchronicity in the Evade and Destiny Jackets and Oracle Pants, well-featured outerwear in sleek, high performance styles. Also available in Cynchronicity will be the FireFly, the flash-piped flagship piece in GoLite’s Breakaway cycle-specific collection. All of GoLite’s Cynchronicity garments are ideal for active adventures in cold, windy conditions.

“GoLite consistently pushes the edge. We sought a partnership with them some time ago knowing that GoLite’s Chief Designer, Russ Bevans, and his creative team would utilize our technology in a unique way to produce a fabric that has never been seen before in the market,” says Andre Desjardins, Consoltex Sales Manager.

In addition to Cynchronicity, GoLite and Consoltex are introducing another breakthrough soft shell for Fall 2005 with its launch of MAGNITUDE. Ideal for the majority of high movement sports in shifting winter weather, apparel made of Magnitude, including the Karma Jacket and Mantra Pants, provide superior fit, stretch, wind-resistance, and water repellency. Magnitude is a wind-blocking motion shell laminate with a 77% nylon/ 12% Cationic polyester/ 11% spandex face fabric with a Dryon super water-repellent finish.
