Golfzon Range by Leadbetter, a new concept in indoor golf training from Golfzon and instructor David Leadbetter, will open its second location in Westbury, N.Y. in March. Westbury joins the first Golfzon Range, which has been operating in Little Ferry, N.J. since 2022.

The Westbury (Nassau County), NY facility will feature 18 driving ranges with (GDR+) simulators, a Puttview interactive slopped putting green and instruction from Leadbetter-accredited instructors. Both locations offer a choice of membership tiers combining instruction and unrestricted range time. The indoor facilities encourage year-round, all-day opportunities for practice. Other services include private lessons, swing analysis, group classes, tournaments, competitions, and special programs for juniors and ladies.

“I’m proud to announce the opening of our second Golfzon Range by Leadbetter facility in Westbury and can’t wait to welcome golfers in Long Island to our new golf training center,” said Benedict Riches, CEO of Golfzon Leadbetter. “The positive impact our first location has had on how golfers improve, especially beginners, gives us confidence our concept works and hope that we can continue to expand and help even more golfers in the future to learn, practice and play.”

Golf has witnessed phenomenal growth in the last few years, according to the National Golf Foundation, including more and more new golfers and juniors. The game has also seen a “tremendous jump in off-course participation, which includes training centers like Golfzon Range, with many first-timers and learners transitioning to “on-course” golfers. Golf also has built up a large reservoir of latent demand, with more than 22 million Americans saying they are “very interested” in learning and playing the game.

Said David Leadbetter, “It’s been remarkable witnessing golfers of all levels coming to our facility. Golfzon Range is not just a place to practice, it’s a community that fosters learning and improvement. The combination of advanced technology and expert instruction has truly transformed how golf can be learned.”
