GolfGear International has appointed three new sales reps, all veterans of the golf industry. Chris Holiday, senior vice president of sales and marketing, annonced the additions:

  • Bill Blake, Chapel Hill, NC, will cover North Carolina;
  • Ken Dudley, of Arvada, CO, will be responsible for
    Colorado, Utah and Southern Wyoming; and,

  • Bruce Loman, of Newport Coast, CA, will cover
    Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego Counties.

They join a nationwide core team of sales reps that also includes three other recent additions – Brandon Thompson, of Beaverton, OR, whose territory is Washington and Oregon; Dick Lakey, of Bozeman, MT, who will cover Montana, Idaho and Northern Wyoming; and Ed Riordan who covers Pennsylvania.

Blake, Dudley and Loman all had extensive, successful sales rep positions with Callaway Golf – Loman for 17 years, Blake for more than 12 years and Dudley for seven years.

Holiday says, “The appointment of these key individuals falls right in place with our very aggressive sales and marketing plans for 2003 and beyond. We are delighted to have them join our talented sales organization. At the same time, we continue to seek out the best people to join our sales team.”

Michael Piraino, GolfGear’s president and chief operating officer, explains that “The year 2003 is off to a great start. At the PGA Show in January, we introduced our new 360 cc and 400 cc Tsunami drivers. These are the next generation of our highly successful 340 cc Tsunami driver which, in 2002, was twice certified as the number one driver in distance according to testing done by Rankmark International, the golf industry’s premier club testing company.”

Piraino adds, “For many years we have been noted for our forged-face insert technology, and additional equipment is under development to keep GolfGear in the forefront of the industry and maintain its reputation as an innovator in the golf industry.”

GolfGear recently granted Nike Golf a non-exclusive, long-term, worldwide license to manufacture and sell golf clubs under GolfGear’s patents covering its proprietary forged-face insert technology.
