Golf Rounds Played Surge In February

Golf rounds played vaulted 19.1 percent in February, according to Golf Datatech.

Leading the gains was East North Central, up 107.9 percent; followed by New England, 99.6 percent; Mid-Atlantic, 89.9 percent; West North Central, 71.1 percent; Pacific, 52.2 percent; Mountain, 25.9 percent; and South Central, 18.7 percent. The one declining region was the South Atlantic, down 0.5 percent.

For the year-to-date period, rounds played were up 15.2 percent.
