According to Golf Datatech, golf rounds played in the U.S. were up 3.5 percent in August year over year. Year to date, golf rounds played are now flat.
Here’s how the regions fared for golf rounds played in August: New England, up 8.5 percent; South Central region: down 3.3 percent; Mid-Atlantic, up 11.6 percent; Mountain region, down 0.4 percent; West North Central, up 3.4 percent; Pacific, up 0.4 percent; South-Atlantic, up 0.3 percent; and East North Central, up 7.1 percent.
