According to Golf Datatech, golf rounds played in the U.S. were down 5.4 percent in May. Year to date, golf rounds played are down 1.3 percent.

All regions except for the South Atlantic (+10.3 percent) saw losses during the month. Declines were seen in Pacific (-4.8 percent), Mountain (-6 percent), West North Central (-13.9 percent), East North Central (-11.3 percent), South Central (-7.9 percent), Mid Atlantic (-5.7 percent), and New England (-6.2 percent).
