The National Golf Foundation reports that same-store rounds in the U.S. dropped 14.2% for the month of December, bringing what had been flat year-to-date numbers through November down to a dip of 0.5% at year’s end. For the year, five NGF climate regions were in positive territory, with the Southeast leading the way, up 2.0% as a result of warm, dry weather well into the winter. The other six regions were in red numbers, with the South Central posting the weakest performance, down 6.8%.
