An extension of an existing licensing agreement between the PGA TOUR and Golf & Tennis Pro Shop, Inc., will introduce the PGA TOUR Superstore brand at two existing Myrtle Beach, SC stores, with plans to expand the concept throughout the country.

Golf & Tennis Pro Shop, owner of two 65,000 square-foot Martin's Golf & Tennis Superstores, will rename them Martin's PGA TOUR Superstores, and then extend the brand as PGA TOUR Superstores at future locations, beginning next year with a 70,000 square-foot store in Atlanta, GA.

Golf & Tennis Pro Shop, Inc. is the PGA TOUR's exclusive partner for off-course/off-airport golf retailing. The company, which is headed by former Home Depot executive Bill Hamlin, became a licensee with the TOUR in 2003 with the mutual vision of establishing PGA TOUR Superstores throughout the country. TOUR executives cited Golf & Tennis Pro Shop's commitment to growing the game of golf, in part through the addition of high-tech equipment at the Superstores, as another reason for forging the relationship.

“The PGA TOUR is pleased to partner with such an experienced management team to expand the PGA TOUR Superstore brand throughout the country,” said Tom Wade, Chief Marketing Officer for the PGA TOUR. “We're particularly impressed with Golf & Tennis Pro Shop's commitment to providing active golfers and potential participants alike with a quality, interactive experience.”

“Our goal is to provide a 'TOUR Van' experience to our customers,” said Jorge Cora, Chief Financial Officer for Golf & Tennis Pro Shop. “Professional players have access to high-tech equipment and they can fine-tune their games by using those devices. Now, any golfer can have the
same opportunity by coming to one of our Superstores.”
