X-Sports, Inc. announced that Eric M. Goldenberg has been elected Chief Operating Officer of the Company, effective immediately. Goldenberg previously was Vice President of Sales. He continues to report directly to Xavier Anguiano,
X-Sports President and Chief Executive Officer.
“Eric is without question one of the most capable, competent, and energetic executives in the industry. His strong leadership will be invaluable as we continue to build our company” said Anguiano.

Goldenberg was named Chief Operating Officer of X-Sports, Inc. upon the pending purchase of Amrex Sports, Inc. at the start of 2003.
Prior to joining X-Sports, Inc., Goldenberg served 8.5 years as Executive Vice-President of Merchandise and Marketing at M.C. Sports. Eric also spent several years as Executive Vice-President of Marketing, Merchandising and Store Operations at Allied Department Stores. Originally from New York City, Eric has a Political Science degree from the University of Maryland.
