Gill Marine has hired outdoor industry veteran Travis Watson as national sales manager for Gill Fishing.

“Travis brings a wealth of experience to his role, having a background of over 20 years of sales, buying, product development, and sourcing in the hunting and fishing space,” the company said in a media release.

Watson was most recently the territory sales manager at Berne Apparel Company, a position he held for six years. Previously, he was the general manager for over eight years at Williamson-Dickie. He briefly held the role of category manager at Sportsman’s Warehouse and worked at Scent Blocker as director of product development. He was also a buyer at TSG from 2011 to 2013 and as an apparel buyer at Cabela’s for over five years from 2006 to 2011.
