Gibbons Slacklines is sending its pro athletes to Charleston, SC for the East Coast Paddlesports & Outdoor Festival at James Island County Park on April 19-20.

Joining the lineup of canoeing, kayaking, stand up paddleboarding, archery, climbing and more, the Gibbon Slacklines Pro athletes will demonstrate flips, tricks and jumps on the slackline and host an interactive zone to teach attendees what the sport is all about.

Introducing the sport of slacklining to outdoors lovers everywhere is one of our main goals, said Emilio Torres, vice president of sales at Gibbon Slacklines. Were very excited to be joining this exhilarating outdoor sports lineup.

In addition to showcasing slacklining at the East Coast Paddlesports & Outdoor Festival, the Gibbon athletes will also be visiting the newly constructed slackline park at the James Island County Park. Now open at the parks climbing wall area, the slackline area features a number of poles secured into the ground as anchor points for the slacklines, allowing slackliners of all ages and abilities a place to practice their skills with other lovers of the sport.

The slackline interactive area will be located at the festivals Try It Zone, which will be open from 1–4 p.m. on April 19 and 10 a.m.–4 p.m. on April 20 and 21.
