The two owners of Gibbon Slacklines, Robert and Jan Kaeding, are also happy to announce the continuing cooperation with REI, currently the largest retailer for slacklines in the USA.

All existing retail partners are now invited to contact us directly in order to discuss 2015 season deliveries, exciting new products, and an innovative approach to marketing the Gibbon brand and its products in stores.

We are super excited to finally start our direct partnership with business and community partners all across North America,” said Jan Kaeding, President of Gibbon USA Inc. “This will open up much new potential!

Since 2007 Gibbon is offering outstanding products, services and events-in over 36 countries worldwide. High profile events, such as the Superbowl Half Time Show or the Madonna MDNA World Tour, have added to the tremendous potential of the brand and its global community. One project  for 2015 involves a global slackline gathering which will take place in California. Gibbon was, is and will always be about enjoying adventure and celebrating the Slacklife – with a global slackline family!

With our previous partners it was difficult to reach the slackline community the way we successfully do already all over the world, said Robert Kaeding, Founder of Gibbon Slacklines.

Gibbon is also proud to announce the appointment of former Slackline World Champion and  Gibbon Pro-Athlete Alex Mason as the new Team Captain for the USA. He is currently recruiting for a new USA team and can be contacted via Facebook.

There is a lot of talent in the US, and working with Gibbon is a great opportunity to build an awesome new team,” said Mason.

Andy Lewis, who famously performed during Madonna’s Superbowl half-time show in 2012, remains a Gibbon  Pro-Athlete. Im super stoked to finally give slacklining a chance to grow on all fronts. To give attention to the athletes in the sport, and not just the contests!

Interested parties are now invited to discuss potential business relations and partnerships for events and competitions for the 2015 season and beyond.
