Hydration pack and apparel maker USWE Sports, based in Malmö, Sweden, is opening its first retail store in the U.S.—USWE Sports Giant Loop Adventure Shop. Powersports packing systems company Giant Loop was acquired last year by USWE Sports, and the company’s warehouse is the U.S. headquarters for both brands.
To celebrate the first USWE Sports concept store and the re-opening of the Giant Loop Adventure Shop, which has been closed since March 2020, the brands will host an open house on July 12. The warehouse showroom is located in USWE’s and Giant Loop’s headquarters in Bend, OR.
The Adventure Shop store features USWE Sports apparel and packs and the Giant Loop adventure motorcycle and Overland packing systems in one place for the first time.
“Bend is the ideal location for our USA base of operations,” said Jacob Westerberg, USWE Sports CEO. “The outdoor lifestyle aligns perfectly with both brands’ primary target markets: bicycling, trail running, skiing, and motorcycling.
