Gen-X Sports Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Forzani Group Limited announced that John Jensen has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Purchasing. Mr. Jensen brings twenty four years of experience in the footwear industry.
Gen-X also announced that Bill Dey has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Sales. Mr. Dey was formerly Senior Vice President of Huffys golf division in charge of the Tommy Armour and Ram brands.
“The addition of John Jensen and Bill Dey has added tremendous depth and experience to our management team from both the purchasing and sales sides” said Jamie Salter CEO of Gen-X.
Gen-X is also pleased to announce that it has licensed the Field and Stream trademark for tents, sleeping bags, mattress pads, air mattresses, camp chairs, camp cots and camp tables.
“The signing of the Field and Stream license is the first step towards achieving our goal of increasing our sales related to licensed products ” said Kenny Finkelstein CFO/COO of Genx. We are pursuing other licensing opportunities he said.
