Gearhead Outfitters (GHO) announced it will host a grand reopening of its newly rebranded stores in Glenwood Springs and Grand Junction, CO, formerly Summit Canyon Mountaineering, from September 12-15.
Following the acquisition of Summit Canyon Mountaineering earlier this year, GHO blended the legacy brand with its expanded product lines, offering consumers a more robust top-tier selection from outdoor brands, including On, Birkenstock, Altra, Danner, and Smartwool.
“We’re thrilled to welcome the Summit Canyon customers into the GHO community and invite everyone to explore the new, expanded product offerings,” said Ted Herget, founder of GHO, in a media release. “We’ve carried the same dedication to personalized service, but now with an even wider selection of outdoor gear for every kind of adventurer.”
Ribbon-cutting ceremonies will occur at the Grand Junction store at 4:30 pm MT on September 12 and the Glenwood Springs store at 4:30 pm MT on September 13.
Founded in 1997 in Jonesboro, AR, by Ted Herget, GHO is a family-owned business that operates over 20 stores in the U.S.
