GEAR for Sports has expanded its sales leadership
team through the additions of John Polkis, senior vice president of sales, and Dan Langner, vice president golf sales & marketing. John Polkis appointment supports GEAR for Sports aggressive strategy of ensuring the success of its newly acquired brands, in addition to sustaining the growth forecast of its current brands for the golf, resort, military, corporate and sports specialty divisions. Jim Malseed will continue to lead the collegiate division.
The addition of Dan Langner supports GEAR for Sports unique green-grass golf market approach with the onset of its multi-tiered product line consisting of GEAR for Sports, Sunice and Robert Trent Jones Apparel brands.

As the senior vice president of sales, John Polkis will direct the sales leadership
team for golf, resort, military, corporate and sports specialty divisions. Additionally,
Polkis will lead strategic planning efforts, the execution of the tactical sales plan and
maintain responsibility for achieving revenue growth and margin objectives for GEAR
for Sports portfolio of brands including GEAR for Sports, Sunice and Robert Trent
Jones Apparel. Polkis has over 20 years of sales experience; most recently he held the
position of senior director, special markets for Callaway Golf Top Flite/Hogan. He has
also held positions with MPS, an Australian-based consulting business, Odyssey Textile
Equipment, Union Oil and Procter & Gamble. Polkis received a Bachelor of Arts degree
in Political Science from The Citadel Military College.

In his new role, Dan Langner will implement the sales and marketing strategies
for GEAR for Sports, Robert Trent Jones Apparel and Sunice brands. Langner has over
ten years of golf industry experience. Most recently Langner was the vice president of
sales for Slazenger Golf; he has also held positions with TaylorMade-Adidas and
MacGregor Golf. Langner earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from Marquette
University.
