Global Brand Marketing, Inc. has named David Orr as Vice President of Sales for Pony International. Mr. Orr will be responsible for all US footwear sales for Pony International and will be working out of the corporate offices in Santa Barbara.
Orr has held senior level sales positions throughout his career, most recently as Director of US Footwear Sales at Adidas US in Portland, OR, and previously Director of Accessory Sales. Prior to joining Adidas, Orr was Eastern Regional Sales Manager at Mizuno USA in Atlanta, GA, and prior to that as National Sales and Marketing Manager at the Yamaha Corporation of America.

The re-launch of the Pony brand will feature the Spring/Summer 2004 collection of both men’s and women’s product, and will retain the athletic history and mystique of the brand while mixing it with a gritty street vibe. The new collection will be presented at GBMI’s global sales conference in June 2003 in Santa Barbara, California and at the GBMI Fifth Avenue showroom in New York during the FFANY tradeshow.
