Global Brand Marketing Inc. welcomed Scott Home back to the company, appointing him senior vice president of U.S. sales. In this position, Mr. Home, who brings over 30 years of footwear industry experience, will oversee all aspects of U.S. sales operations for each of GBMI’s brands. Capitalizing on the company’s strong and diverse product lines, Home will work to strengthen the company’s presence within existing accounts by increasing the breadth of product offered, and enhancing each of the brand’s position at retail.

“Scott Home’s thirty plus years of sales experience is a tremendous asset to GBMI,” said Killick Datta, CEO of Global Brand Marketing Inc. “Scott Home is known for building strong partnerships with wholesale customers, and developing strategies to build their businesses with consumers. He adds depth to our leadership team, bringing sales operating experience in both retail and wholesale, and in men’s, women’s, and children’s footwear. He also has proven his ability to build footwear brands, and brings a terrific understanding of merchandising and footwear fashion, marketing and new channel growth strategies. He was instrumental in building our U.S. Sales during his earlier stint with GBMI.”

Home joins GBMI after serving as president of Palladium, a division of Consolidated Shoe Company, for four years.  Home joined GBMI in March 2000 as VP of U.S. sales for Diesel Footwear. He was then promoted to SVP of U.S. Sales in October 2002 and served until November 2003. Home has gained considerable industry experience in various executive sales positions at Dr. Marten’s, Nordstrom, Inc., NIKE, Inc., and Home Shoe Co.

Home succeeds Larry Slivka, who is retiring after serving more than six very successful years with GBMI.
