Garmont North America will be the North American distributor of Silvretta free-ride and ski mountaineering bindings starting January 2004. According to John Schweizer, president of Garmont North America, “Silvretta was looking for a strong partner to launch Silvretta's “Pure” binding technology into the North America market. At the same time, we were looking for the 'Next Generation' of technical bindings to compliment our free-ride ski mountaineering boots.”
Garmont North America has sales and distribution centers in Williston, Vermont and Cowansville, Quebec. Schweizer added “All bindings including the new “Pure” plus service parts will be in stock by January 1.
