Gander Outdoors, formerly known as Gander Mountain, set grand opening festivities for stores in Monroe, NC and Warren, OH.
The 30,000-square-foot store in Monroe will be one of six Gander Outdoors retail locations in North Carolina, operating with over 55 part-time employees and full-time staff. The location is at 3151 West Highway 74.
The 61,000-square-foot store in Warren will be one of two Gander Outdoors retail locations in Ohio, operating with over 55 part-time employees and full-time staff. The store is at 2390 Niles Cortland Road Southeast.
Grand opening events for both will take place on April 21.
Camping World bought Gander Mountain assets in bankruptcy court in May 2017 and is beginning to reopen many of the chain’s stores under the Gander Outdoors name. Camping World also owns Camping World, Erehwon Mountain Outfitters, Overton’s, The House, Uncle Dan’s and Windward/W82.
