Gander Mountain will open two new locations in Texas and Oklahoma on Thursday, March 12, increasing its store count to more than 156 locations. A new store opening in Killeen will be the 20th store in the state, while the location in Tulsa marks Gander Mountain's entry into Oklahoma and the 27th state overall.
“These two stores are being added to our rapidly growing national network as part of our aggressive growth strategy,” said Mike Owens, President and Chief Operating Officer for Gander Mountain. “The new locations give more people the opportunity to experience firsthand our top-quality gear and knowledgeable service at great prices.”
Killeen's 52,000-square-foot space and Tulsa's 45,600-square-foot space reflect Gander Mountain's new store prototype including innovative interior elements, displays and fixtures.
Gander Mountain's newest stores will feature one of the largest selections of new and used firearms in Texas and Oklahoma, together with the best selection of gear and accessories for hunting, fishing, camping, boating and archery. The new stores will offer an extensive selection of men's and women's active and casual apparel with well-known outdoor performance brands such as The North Face, Columbia, Under Armour, GSX, Carhartt, Guide Series and Kuhl. Stores will also offer a wide variety of men's and women's brand-name active footwear including Asics, Merrell, Rocky, Reebok, Reef, Keen, Irish Setter, Teva, New Balance, Patagonia, Timberland, LaCrosse, Itasca, Saucony and Salomon.
The Killeen and Tulsa locations will feature an on-site Gander Mountain Firearms Super Center.
