G3 Genuine Guide Gear has retained Rocky Mountain-based sales agency, KNS Reps, to oversee G3 retail partnerships in Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Wyoming, effective immediately.

KNS brings a combined 50 years of sales experience in the outdoor and ski industries to its role with G3. The agency is based out of two offices in Colorado with personnel also located in Utah, offering proximity to retail partners across its territory.

“KNS is excited to be teaming up with G3 in the Rockies,” said Kirk Haskell, principal at KNS. “As passionate backcountry enthusiasts ourselves, G3 represents high quality and innovative products that speak to the core backcountry user and that have perfect synergy with the other lines we represent.”

Along with Haskell, KNS includes principal Scott Sutton and associate Judd Salvas. The agency also represents Scarpa, Big Agnes, Nikwax, Julbo Eyewear, Deuter and Ortovox.

“KNS has the trust of their retailers and a knack for communicating brand messages and teaching product strengths to retail staff,” said John Pieper, G3 VP of Sales. “This skillset is perfect for G3 at such an exciting time of growth for our company.”

This fall, G3 is growing its popular ION binding into a family of three models tailored for different needs, introducing several new lightweight, touring-focused skis and splitboards, and unveiling a fully redesigned climbing skin line in which skin sizes fit a wider range of ski lengths.

Based in Vancouver, B.C., G3 Genuine Guide Gear Inc manufactures gear for backcountry skiing and snowboarding, starting with avalanche safety equipment in 1995. The G3 product line includes skis, splitboards, alpine touring and telemark bindings, poles, climbing skins, avalanche shovels, probes and other ski accessories.
