Fulgent Sun International (Holding) Co., Ltd., which makes footwear for such brands as Nike, Li-Ning, Decathlon, Meindl, Columbia, Mammut, Salewa, La Sportiva, Inov-8, ASG, Crocs, and Toread, filed an application with the Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation (TWSE) for a primary listing.
Fulgent Sun manufactures and supplies outdoor footwear, sports footwear, and all kinds of athletic and outdoor footwear, but is reportedly investigating establishing its own brands. The company entered a joint venture with La Sportiva last year to sell and distribute the Italian company's footwear in the People's Republic of China.
Fulgent Sun owns four factories. Two of them are located in Fujian province and one is in Hubei province of China, and the rest are located in Hanoi, Vietnam. The company manages finance, sales and raw material procurement from its branch office in Taiwan.
In 2011, the company generated net income after tax was NT$471 million ($16mm), or NT$ 5.44 per share on consolidated revenue of NT$7,251 million ($246mm).
