Woolrich announced the hiring of Joshua W. Rich, an eighth generation grandson of Woolrich founder John Rich.  Rich joins the marketing team as marketing coordinator following a year working with Woolrich’s Italian licensee W.P. Lavori in Corso.

“Having a member of our marketing team who has an intimate understanding of the brand and the company’s history is invaluable,” said Brent Hollowell, Woolrich Inc. VP of Marketing.

Rich will be responsible for assisting the marketing team in various capacities including Woolrich’s social media activities.  Rich will report directly to Hollowell.

“Woolrich, the brand, the company, and its future means so much to me,” said Rich.  “The company is still family run and Im proud to be part of the family’s continuing legacy within the company.”

Rich graduated with a degree in economics in 2009 from Trinity College, in Hartford, CT, where he also played for the men’s ice hockey team.  He then spent a year in Italy with W.P. Lavori where he worked with their marketing and creative departments on the Woolrich John Rich and Bros. and Woolrich Woolen Mills labels.
