Fossil Group, Inc. has appointed Franco Fogliato as CEO and a member of the Board of Directors. Fogliato succeeds Jeffrey Boyer, Fossil’s Interim CEO, who will resume his previous role as chief operating officer and step down from the Board of Directors, effective September 18, 2024.

Fogliato, most recently, was president and CEO of Salomon, which anchors the Outdoor Performance segment of Amer Sports, Inc. Amer reported in mid-April that Fogliato was leaving the company for personal reasons.
Fossil said that during his tenure at Salomon, Fogliato “led a successful business turnaround, streamlining operations, creating a refreshed brand identity and platform, and driving robust revenue and profit growth.” Before Salomon, he spent eight years at Columbia Sportswear Company, most recently as EVP of global omnichannel. He previously spent eight years as CEO of Europe at Billabong Group, owner of the Nixon watch and accessories brand. Earlier in his career, Fogliato held executive roles at The North Face.
