The Forzani Group Ltd. reports that it will pull Bisphenol-A (“BPA”) bottles from its shelves, citing worries over the health risks involved with the product.
Although the official report on BPA from Health Canada is not expected to be released until May, in the interest of customer health and safety, Forzani has elected to immediately pull all water bottles containing BPA from its shelves and to replace these products with BPA-free hydration alternatives.
The company will accept returns of bottles containing BPA purchased at its stores in accordance with its return policy.
