Outdoor footwear brand Forsake, founded in 2013, is expanding the business to debut its inaugural line of women’s footwear.

“On the heels of several successful seasons, Forsake is now offering women the same combination of urban styling with outdoor performance that enables anyone to trade city streets for the trails,” officials said.

Composed of five models, the women’s collection from the Boston-based company offers equal parts style and performance.

“After seeing how many women bought shoes from our men’s collection, we knew we had to offer women the same functional versatility that our current products are known for,” said Jack Knoll, director of marketing at Forsake. “After two years of development, we’re thrilled to launch a series of sneakerboots that aren’t just a copy of our men’s line; they are a unique and adventurous alternative to a stale marketplace of women’s hiking and outdoor shoes.”

The new fall 2016 women’s collections, priced from $115 to $150, debut this week.
