Oncore Innovations, a golf technology/golf ball development company, announced the appointment of Frederick Port, former president of Callaway Golf International, to its Strategic Advisory Board.
Port joins OnCore’s Board as it prepares to commercially launch Genius Ball, a product that “brings new insight to the game” with integrated data-tracking technology.
Oncore noted in a media release that Port’s leadership at Callaway was “marked by strategic growth initiatives emphasizing consolidating ownership of more than 80 percent of its international distribution.” His insights and expertise “will support OnCore’s mission to bring cutting-edge innovation to golfers worldwide.”
The company said that Port will “guide product launch strategies, global growth, and partnerships within the golf ecosystem ” as an OnCore Strategic Advisory Board member.

The design of OnCore’s proprietary Genius Ball captures real-time data on spin rate, velocity, launch angle, and other metrics, giving golfers actionable insights through an app to enhance skill development.
