Alfred Chang, the CEO of luxury streetwear brand Fear of God, left his position to work for Everlane as CEO.
Everlane, a U.S. clothing retailer, sells primarily online. Headquartered in San Francisco, CA with stores in New York City, Boston, Los Angeles, Austin, and Palo Alto, the company was founded in 2010 by Michael Preysman and Jesse Farmer with the mission of selling clothing with transparent pricing.
Chang was the CEO at Fear of God from February 2023 to July 2024, where he was credited with credited with streamlining operational processes, and implementing merchandising initiatives and marketing strategies. Previously, he spent 17 years at PacSun, where he held roles, including co-CEO, president, chief brand officer, and executive vice president of merchandising and design. Before that, he worked for five years in merchandising at Old Navy.
At Everlane, Chang replaces Andrea O’Donnell, CEO since 2021. She left the company in January 2024 to join Designer Brands as Brands president and EVP. Everlane’s founder, Michael Preysman, will continue as executive chairman and climate lead.
