ForeFront Group, Inc. has named Scott Harris as its new director of marketing. In his new position, Harris will be responsible for overseeing all marketing and branding initiatives for the Datrek, Burton, Devant and Miller Golf brands.

Harris joins ForeFront from Thomas Nelson Publishers in Nashville, TN, where he spent the past six years in various roles and most recently as the director of marketing and publicity.  In this position, Harris was responsible for directing overall marketing initiatives, brand positioning and product launches for their various book divisions, which led to over 18 New York Times and CBA best sellers through strategic partnerships with key retailers and media outlets.  Among his most notable launch campaigns, Harris directed book promotions for high-profile authors such as Newt Gingrich, Deborah Norville and Lynne Spears, among many others.

“It is a very strategic move for ForeFront to add Scott to the team, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision,” said ForeFront President and COO Rick Oleksyk.  “Scott’s diverse work experience with some of Nashville’s top advertising agencies where he marketed world-known brand names, and his more than 11 years of experience in vast marketing arenas, makes him an asset to our golf bag, towel and accessories brands.”

Harris is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis on Marketing/Advertising and Public Relations, English & Fine Art.
