Fjällräven, the Swedish outdoor brand, welcomed Stephen Golaszewski as director of Latin America. Golaszewski will provide regional leadership for the brand as Fjällräven focuses on strategic growth in a new international market, a direct response to overwhelming demand in Latin America.
“We are excited to welcome Stephen to the Fjällräven team as we look to sustainably grow in Latin America and control the launch and brand experience in new markets. He brings a wealth of experience to the role, with a track record of success launching, managing and scaling world-class brands in international markets,” says Nathan Dopp, president of Fjällräven of the Americas. “Stephen will lead the charge of developing and implementing strategic, operational plans to drive growth and build high-performing organizations in Latin America.”
Golaszewski comes to Fjällräven with over a decade of international experience in the footwear, apparel, accessories and hardgoods verticals. Most recently, Golaszewski served as international sales manager for KSGB, a division of Eland Korea that owns K-Swiss, Palladium, Otz, Supra and KR3W Denim. Before KSGB, he held posts at One Distribution, Vans and K2 Sports.
“Fjällräven is deeply commited to international brand development and strategic expansion in Latin America,” says Golaszewski. “The breadth of the Fjällräven line, combined with the sheer amount of interest in the brand in Latin America made this an opportunity I could not pass up. We are going to expand the Fjällräven tribe by telling the lifestyle story to the outdoor consumer in Latin America.”
Golaszewski began his new role with Fjällraven on Monday, Oct. 30.
