Fitness On Demand, a fitness content provider, hired Andy Peat as CEO. Most recently, Peat was chief product officer at Lift Brands, a global fitness franchising company. Before that, he was CEO of Snap Fitness in Australia and New Zealand. Under his leadership, Snap Fitness merged into Lift Brands.
Lift Brands, the parent company of Snap Fitness and FitnessOnDemand is also a minority partner in 9Round and Fitstop.
Fitness On Demand’s operations are said to span 2,800 locations worldwide across fitness, corporate, hospitality, and multi-family housing sectors.
Peat’s hire comes as Fitness On Demand is undergoing a global brand relaunch that includes an update to its app, designed for fitness operators to enhance user engagement, increase customer retention and capitalize on monetization opportunities.
Other recent introductions at Fitness On Demand, based in Minneapolis, MN, include launching two TV channels of sports news and wellness content.
