Fischer Skis US is pleased to announce the the addition of two Competition and Promotions staff members. Pearson Neal, is now our Eastern Competition and Promotions Representative and Chris Smith, the Western Competition and Promotions Representative.

Pearson comes to Fischer with a strong background in competitive alpine skiing both as an athlete and a coach. Pearson is a seasoned road warrior, having spent two years as Race Coordinator for Blizzard/Tecnica. He’s also logged several years on the retail sales floor and as some of you may recall, and worked as an intern at our Mt Hood test center under Tim Ingraham in 2006. Pearson will be living in New Hampshire and can be reached at pneal@fischerskis.com. He’s currently coaching a camp at Whistler, his first official day will be July 20th and will report to Mt Hood shortly after…but he’s already begun to wade into his new role, contacting coaches and programs.

Chris Smith has earned his alpine racing stripes as well, first competing on the towering peaks of the mid-west and later as Captain of the Colorado Mountain College Alpine team. Chris has spent the last 5 years as a hired gun with Nordica’s race department, being mentored by Matt Schiller and also working with their Utah sales rep, Gary Stevens at numerous retailer and consumer events, demos, and promotions. He’s even done his time on the retail floor; 5 years with Christy’s in Steamboat and Deer Valley. Chris is based in Park City, can be reached at csmith@fischerskis.com. Chris is currently in Mt Hood, OR at our Test Center and will be there through the end of our operations on August 1st.
